INSTRUCTORS

Our most valuable resource is our instructors.  We are constantly seeking qualified instructors from all geographic areas in Nevada.  Since most classes are conducted on weekends, instructors must give up their weekends to teach classes.  Although most sponsors provide some kind of compensation for the instructors’ time, most instructors seem to teach more for the personal satisfaction of being able to train a new rider to ride a motorcycle safer in a single weekend.  Instructors are also held to a high standard, per NRS 486.375, for eligibility, and must routinely pass frequent Quality Audits by the program.  At the end of 2006, there were 91 licensed instructors throughout the state.

STUDENTS TRAINED

These instructors have done a remarkable job in providing training to the public.  Below are charts showing the numbers of students trained throughout the state.
